Born in Königsberg, Jurii Kirnev has been passionate about literature storytelling, music, and art since early childhood. His main areas of interest were and remain Romanticism, Symbolism, Renaissance, Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, Gothic architecture and fiction.

Graduated in Paris (EICAR: École Internationale de Création Audiovisuelle et de Réalisation) in the field of fine arts and filmmaking, Jurii Kirnev created many works of art in different directions, but he is best known as a writer, graphic novel creator, and musician.

He is currently living in his family Château in the centre of Budapest.
